Latest Sims update

hi all,

i was trying to update my game today after i bought cottage livivng. So i go onto EA and try to play sims and redeem my code but it's telling me i don't have enough storage .I've deleted some of my cc and mods etc. Is there anyway to fix this and update and download cottage living without deleting all of my cc or mods?

  • louieplayssims  Please clear the EA App's cache yet again and restart your computer.  Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and list the free and total space on each drive you have.  You might need to scroll down a bit to see the stats, but they'll be there.

Then try again to repair Sims 4, and if the EA App says you don't have enough space, let me know how much it says you have and how much it requires.

  • @puzzleaddict it changes each time how much i need to delete etc. o havent tried to download cottage living yet as im focusing on updating the main game. i've cleared the cache twice and it doesnt seem to make a difference

  • louieplayssims  Repair the game instead of updating (Sims 4 > Manage > Repair).  This gives you the updated version while requiring less space.  And clear the cache again before repairing.

  • hi, ive just tried to repair it and its still saying i dont have enough storage on disk c or something
