EMPShielded  You said you cleared your cache, which could mean a lot of things, but Sims players usually mean they cleared Sims files.  The temp files I was referencing are Windows files, and they're hidden.

    When i Google what temp files are all i get is the cache. I'm not deleting something that I don't know. If I delete my temp files will i lose my save data? As much as I love the sims i am not risking breaking my pc.

    I deleted the temp files that you are talking about, it's still broken.
