OneDrive - Personal deleting Sims 4 files.
I've been playing on my windows 10 laptop for quite a while now, and have never run into this problem until now. It doesn't seem to be totally uncommon, but I'm still worried. The issue started a few days ago, where I'd be taken to my home screen while playing (not fully exited out from the game) and OneDrive would ask to confirm the deletion of 300+ files. I ended up clicked keep and went back to playing, hoping to ignore it and that it'll just go away. This morning the same thing happened, but it was literally asking about 1314 files. Pretty daunting for someone who doesn't know a thing about PCs, folders, or OneDrive. I've read different discussions and a reddit thread, and it seems to be an issue where save files are being synced up funny, but I'm not totally sure. It's all just "zoneObjects09b214c649d02f5f-..." Or a bunch of numbers and letters uploaded to online thumbnail cache. I also see mod logs, but it's mainly zone objects or lot thumbnail with a similar number and letter pattern uploaded to scratch_3936. How on Earth do I fix this??? I'm also momentarily pausing the syncing of my OneDrive for 24 hours. Please give me some guidance :') TY!
corrupted file
i was downloading some cc earlier and am trying to run sims and it keeps saying there is a corrupted file. i have deleted the one it says is corrupted, but i keep getting the pop up. i also tried to download origin, but i cannot log in because it says i need to be online. how to fix???
All Sims/Lots I Created GONE from Gallery
with this newest update, I seem to have lost all of my sims/lots/rooms I had in my Gallery Library from over the years I've been playing this game, since it released. I've reset my game, I've restated EA app, no mods, I even uninstalled and reinstalled(due to a different issue). I don't know what to do.
Game not downloading
I recently started to play the sims 4 again and when I tried to play everything was disoriented and wack on screen and it might be because I haven't played in about a year or so my mods might need to be updated. I followed the advice to solve the problem which was to uninstall the sims 4 and reinstall it after clearing my cache if it didn't help fix the problem so I did. Another thing to know is that I ran out of space on my computer C drive or local drive and got an external 2 tb hard drive to put my game on. I keep trying to download it on my new hard drive, but it just isn't working. Please help I love to create sims and i really want to create sims now that school is out.
Steam Pack Glitch
I was just playing with a Sims 4 infant and realised that I need the Growing Together pack installed to make half these things work properly. So, I closed my game and clicked the checkbox in Steam to download the pack because I’ve already got it. However, it didn’t say it was downloading. Instead, all I’m seeing is the green play button where it should say installing. Sure enough, I opened my game and the pack was not there. It still says “Download To Use”.I can't get my sims4 to work
The game used to work fine but one day, it won't load into the game after the loading page. I tried switching to Steam which did not work, and I also tried erasing all the files from Electronic Arts, EA app, Steam app and the Sims4 game itself. I downloaded everything again and it still won't work. I just don't see why... of course there are no mods and cc folders too cuz I obviously erased all the files on Electronic Arts. Please do help me I just wanna relax and have fun after work and it is driving me nuts.Accidents Happen but what about after?
I recently had a problem with my gameplay in TS4, all I wanted to do was add a new and better looking closet, so I looked in ccs and mods, I downloaded some, but after I had tried to make room on my pc, I accidentally deleted my mods folder, well after trying to restore the files to no avail, (yes I looked in the recycling bin, I had emptied it already) I tried my best to reconstruct my folder, but after opening the game again, it's still almost completely wiped of all my progress, I'm wondering if there's a chance in heck that I'd be able to get the progress back if I haven't backed it up. I've already tried recuva and other file recovery sites but still nothing has done anything to help, just grieving for now.
