After pressing exit game, the game does NOT shut down.

I click save game [from years worth of crash experiences], and then I click save and exit. The screen will eventually freeze(like it does when starting exit sequence), but not ever ever ever shut dow...

Tpinga87​  Does your progress save when you use the "save" option?  Does the game close if you choose to exit without saving?  And does it help to play with your computer offline?  You can sign into the EA App and put it into offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
