Re: Sims 4 - Packs missing from EA app

So, this has been an issue for a good six months by now and I haven't played since then. I share an account with my dad and there had never been an issue. He played his games, I played mine (the sims 4) and he also never had an issue with me buying packs as long as it was my money. And overtime, I've collected quite a few, spent my money on it. But around November 2024, I wanted to log in and play, but all my packs were gone, and so was my time played status. The game was like reset. But on my PC, I still have all the packs installed. The game launches like normal, only all my packs and saved games are gone. The whole EA account has changed somehow, my dad also said his games are all gone. His username changed, all his friends gone too. Thinking about it, maybe it's more of a general issue and not a Sims specific one. Just wanted to know if others have experienced something similar and what can be done in such case - if anything can be done because I did spend quite some money and time on the game and it would be tragic if all that would be lost.

hoping for some help or just someone who tells me this happened not only to me :)

    If your game library isn't showing your add-ons in the EA app, then most likely you're logging into the EA app with the wrong login details. You need to login to the app with the same details that you originally purchased your content on, and you'll see everything available in your library to download and access again.

    Please also check your Order History in the EA app- if your Order History is showing as blank and you're not seeing any previous purchases you've made here, this is another way to verify that you're currently logging into the app with the incorrect login details. 

    I'd recommend checking any emails you have for the email receipt of your purchases so you know which account to login to the EA app to.     Hi! Thank you so much for your reply, I'd like to give an update on my situation for now :) So I logged into my own account and suddenly all my games were back? But the packs are still gone. Which makes no sense, because I only created this account two months ago or so, so I most definitely didn't play the sims with it. Now I'm a little further but at the same time at square one :/

    I'd recommend you get in contact with the live support team using the link above so they can verify where your packs are all located and help you access those again.
