all of a sudden save file won’t load + Unrecognized Video Card

bstephensonn​  The unrecognized video card error message shows up once per Options.ini file.  When you removed your entire Sims 4 folder, you removed that file too, which is why you're seeing the message again.  Your GPU isn't in the game's database, so it's been unrecognized this whole time unless you took steps to get it recognized at some point.  In that case, please let me know what you did.

For the rest, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

bstephensonn​  Your dxdiag lists a few crashes of the graphics driver, and given your other symptoms, that's the obvious place to start.  (The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag are somewhat generic but can be caused by a bad graphics driver too.)  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

Please let me know what happens if you try to start a new save after reinstalling the driver.  If everything works fine, you can try one of your main saves too, but no mods or custom content yet.
