All Of My Saves & CC is gone and My Game Has Reset Back To The Welcome Page!!

Hello, i would like to preface that i am very, very bad with technology so i do apologise if i come across as stupid! Another small thing is that when i first downloaded cc i organised them into different folders because a youtube video told me that it would be helpful for finding and deleting broken cc. 

My game was working fine a few days ago but my cc was bugging out and making one of my infants glitched to the feet of another sim. I did what i always do which is move some of my cc into a different folder to go back and forth between my game and my file explorer to find the broken cc. I moved all of the cc in my "Build Buy" folder into my documents folder to do that and it was working perfectly fine in game but when i started to go through to move and delete some of this cc my game changed to a welcome screen. Not only that, none of my cc is in my game anymore despite still being downloaded and all of my save files are gone. 

One weird thing is that i ended up with the sims (ea folder) in my documents and when i tried to move it all back to my build buy folder (assuming that's where if came from) but it didn't move. 

Is this fixable, if so how? i'm not even sure what i did. I'm in desperate need of help!

    Hi milagg17, did you solve this? 

    I've just tried to load the game up after a while of not playing and after updating, I am now encountering the same problem, I can see all my saved files and cc in the folder, except none of it seems to be loading in game. My icloud isnt even on so the below article doesn't help me. I can see the pathway in the EA app is also correct.

    If you solved, would you mind telling me how?
