All of my sims 4 saves are gone

I haven’t played the sims in months but today I had the urge to update my game and play. When it opened there were no saves and I could only create a new game. I checked my saves folder and it was empty along with the screenshots and mods folder. I have tried finding the missing stuff but I can’t please help
