Allocate more RAM to Sims 4 MAC

Can someone please tell me how to allocate more RAM to sims 4? I play it and it only uses about 1.95 gigs (this means that when it reaches that point if it wants to use MORE than 1.95 than it has to go over 2). I have 8GB RAM and i want my game o run faster and not lag ever. So i want to be able to change how much RAM it uses to 4. But I searched in the config files, and never found it. So can someone tell me how to change the memory allocated to sims 4? These are my specs:

-------------------------------------------------------------

iMac (21.5-inch, Mid 2011)

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Startup Disk: Finder

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB

--------------------------------------------------------------

Please help someone!!!!!

  • With the newer versions of the Mac OS, there is not a way to allocate more memory to the game or to any specific program. The OS does that automatically with out you having to manually do it. You can always add more RAM to your computer if you wish to.
