Mine was working last night.
Do you have the Sims through Origin, or Steam...? I've found that sometimes if Origin is angry, the Sims won't launch until I bludgeon and restart Origin. (Er. That's the technical terminology.)
@bvbydxlll Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't work, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I was playing just fine yesterday, but today I can't get my game to go past the "The SIMS 4" launch animation right when you start up the game. It just closes and brings Origin back to the front of my desktop.
I have tried moving my sims 4 folder to my desktop and have a new one be created, but I get the same exact issue. I don't use mods or cc either and never have in the Sims 4. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Origin. I have tried repairing my sims games in Origin. I have also tried delete cache. I am at a lost and have no clue what else to do.me too. i thought it was mods, but 'twasn't.

Indeed. I opened Sims today and Origin asked me to update. I was given the option to skip the update, which I've never seen before.
I searched online for the update and could find no reference to a June 3, 2022 update. Therefore, I created a restore point.
I ran the update. It failed.
Now the game is repeatedly trying to update and, after I also ran a repair, is repeatedly trying to repair the game, successfully repairing all content except for the base game, which means the attempt is running over and over. Again and again, either connected with the repair issue or separate from it, it's saying Origin failed to update, every time.
IT IS LETTING ME INTO THE GAME. I am able to go to the house where my little guys are standing in front of their rigs, ready to go on with their lives. I have not played the game yet.
I am currently running a system restore with that restore point I created on the PC, hoping to prevent this issue from continuing or getting worse.
Something is going on, definitely, or so it seems to me.

@bvbydxlll I see that you have not tried to delete the cache of the game which is in documents here are screenshots that could help you
Someone, please help...
I finally managed after being up most of the night last night to get all my packs to install, but now when I load my game, it crashes on the title page. Just completely closes the game and pulls up Origin.
Here's a list of EVERYTHING I have tried:
- Uninstalling/Reinstalling Origin
- Uninstalling/Reinstalling the EA app- Clearing cache of BOTH EA app/Origin
- Uninstalling/Reinstalling TS4 on BOTH my C and D hard drives- Repairing game files in BOTH Origin and the EA app
- Updating game files in Origin
- Dragging TS4 folder out of My Documents to allow game to recreate a new folder
- Dragging mods folder AND Tray folder out of My Documents
- Uninstalling/Reinstalling graphics card drivers
Literally nothing is working, and the only thing left I can think of to do is completely wiping my entire PC and reinstalling Windows, Origin, TS4, etc, but this is my absolute LAST option I'm willing to do. I've downloaded Revo Uninstaller and completely cleared out registry files and everything else I can find, but no matter what I attempt, I can't run the game...
I'm going to upload my DxDiag info in hopes that someone, somewhere can figure this out.@Kinneybear A component of Razer Chroma is crashing repeatedly and taking Sims 4 down with it. So please try disabling all Razer software through the Task Manager; you'll need to go through the background processes list to find everything. If the services keep restarting themselves (please check back to see), you may need to uninstall the software entirely. It's normal for them to restart when you reboot your computer; I'm talking about them showing up again in the Task Manager immediately after you close them.
- @puzzlezaddict Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!! I completely uninstalled all Razer software and it works! You are amazing, thank you so freaking much.
