App will not launch even though i have a stable connection

Everytime i try to launch the EA app to play my game all i get is error code 10005. Game worked fine yesterday, i have done it all, cleared cache, app recovery, uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing is working to fix this error code. Ive reset my internet router, and restarted my computer numerous times to no avail.

I followed the same path when the same error code came up for me a week ago after the app had worked with no problems for years. The issue stopped for me when I opened Norton 360 and disconnected VPN . The login worked perfectly then. So I will in future turn off VPN while using EA, and turn it back on afterward. This had not been an issue before, and is not an issue when using Steam!
