An EA community manager has pointed out that errors in Windows 8.1 can relate to shell replacements that modify the core of Windows, such as Start8.
I see you have an error code for XMBC before the TS4 errors, which is a media centre? Is it possible to deactivate XMBC and try to run the game again to see if it is that causing the problems? 🙂
Thanks for your suggestions. I am not using a start screen replacement. XBMC is installed but not running when launching the game.
It's got nothing to do with shell replacements. I had one of them say that to me but I have NOTHING like that installed. Truth is they don't have a clue why such large numbers of people are having problems just loading the game.
