August 19th EA update

Hi all, I previously started a discussion on how the game is not loading and flying me back to world screen, I couldn't find that discussion page so I thought I will just start a new one.

At first I insisted it was the August 19th update that's causing errors, but now for me I think its one of the few mods I've installed. If you have mods installed from Sacrificial Mods, you might want to remove it, as mod creator has stated that:

"ALL OF HIS MODS ARE BROKEN, AND IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE AUGUST 19TH UPDATE"

So if any simmers has his mods installed you might wanna check if thats the broken mod, I literally just found out because I lost all of my 1000 mods and CC and am currently slowly downloading new ones and launching TS4 to see if the game is working fine. I went to this mods website and saw the update.

Now I'm thinking whether is it causing the game not to load, I tried to download a random mod to see if the error still occurs, and yes, still takes me back to the world screen. But once I removed it, the game is working all fine again.

So all simmers who have his mods downloaded, you might want to remove it and try to load the game again.

Disclaimer: Not sure if this will work for everyone but it does for me. I'm not saying you HAVE TO REMOVE the mod. This is just my suggestion and I want to to share it with my fellow simmers as I know how many of you are getting very frustrated over it.
