Broken gallery, library, & saves not working
As of yesterday, after working perfectly fine a few hours previous, my game has been unable to play. I don't know if there was an update or what. I'm not able to save households to my library, not even my personal ones that I edit/add to game (so I can't start a new save). It always times me out and tells me to check my internet connection (which is fine). Gallery doesn't load beyond red "/"'s and whenever I play and save, once I exit and return its reverted to its state prior to playing. So I can't do anything.
I've restarted the game, the EA app, my computer, steam, verified integrity of files, cleared cache, and moved what few (inactive) mods I had leftover sitting in my game files out of there completely, which I had forgotten about. But none of it has changed anything, beyond the last two causing multiple portraits of sims in my library to now have that entirely blacked out glitch - though only in the overall household photo, not their personal ones that show their traits and stuff. I don't know what to do. I don't have mods or CC, and I haven't purchased any of the newest packs. So is it just a server issue that I have to wait out? Are my sims and saves somehow corrupted?
tobirolo Please check your antivirus for any recent actions involving Sims 4. I don't know whether the issue saving to your library is related (this has multiple causes), but the red Xs in the Gallery usually is. Please see the first post of this thread for more information:

Please also let me know whether your Sims 4 user folder is stored in OneDrive. Here's how to check:
