q4eq02w0k9ga It's unlikely to be a game bug, or we'd see more reports. Instead, it might be another app interfering with Sims 4. So please disable any apps that come with overlays: Steam, Discord, etc. Disable the EA App in-game overlay too, under Settings > Application.
If that alone doesn't help, switch to playing in windowed mode rather than in fullscreen, or the opposite if you're already in windowed mode. Quit the game and reload it after switching and before testing.
