31_ella Please remove Options.ini from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. Load the game, switch to the Sims 3 camera, quit, reload, and see whether you get the camera control you want. Removing Options.ini will reset all your in-game settings, so if this helps, you'll need to redo everything else. But if it doesn't help, you can delete the new Options file and restore the old one.
Hi thanks for the help but unfortunately when I removed the options file my game refused to load past the start up screen. I let it load for 20 minutes before I gave up on waiting. I put my old options file back in and it loaded up just fine. The camera is still broken but I might just learn to live with it.
