I'm having the same problem. I am MAC user and I have downloaded The Sims 4 by redeeming a code from a CD but it's not working ☹️ I have tried everything but still nothing happened .. It just keeps saying that there's a problem with connecting to server and activating it ☹️ Please, EA, help!

Did you get this fixed? If not, please try the Origin reset tool here - http://help.ea.com/uk/article/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
I have tried that but it didnt help, still not working ☹️
Go into System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall then click the lock and enter your password. Now click on Firewall Options, is Origin showing up with allowed connections?
Are you using any kind of VPN software or a 3rd party Firewall?
