Cannot place nor buy objects in build mode.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.74.59.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs, Discover University, City Living, Get to Work, Seasons, Get Famous, Snowy Escape
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Usually from trying to click or place an object in build mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? This bug occurs whenever I try to place or buy an object from build/buy, it won't show the object and won't let me buy it at all.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to place objects with no problem, but this has persisted even with the recent patch.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Whenever I would want to get something from build/buy mode, I am unable to place what I want or even see the object itself. It works fine without mods, but I still want to use mods. Is there a work around that could work ? It seems like others are having this issue as well, so hopefully this will get patched soon.

    @cursed_catzif it works find without mods, but doesn't with mods, then it sounds like a mod issue. Your mods may be out of date/broken, particularly since there was a patch recently. the best way to test which mod is causing your issue is the 50-50 method

    @cursed_catz  There are a lot of threads here that if you read them pin point your experienced issue to build mods, like Better Build Buy and TOOL. 

    Before updating your game you always need to remove your mods.

    Then you need to check the places where you downloaded them, for information on when they are updated.

    When the creators announce new and updated versions, you can install that new version, and play with your mods. 🙂

    A bug report needs to be made on a modfree game. Before making another bug report you need to remove your mods and test your save to see if the issue occurs. The bug reports are for issues in the game; not for mods which are third party additions, and can only be fixed by the creator.
