That definitely looks strange. Have you tried cleaning up your game and then repairing it? If not take a look at this....

If that doesn't fix your problem then try running a game repair.

I'm having the same issue. I did the repair and the cache and my game still looks the same.
If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
Eppybiz7 meligart235 Please test in a clean user folder to make sure no other files triggering the issue. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how the UI looks.

My events are showing up on the top left of my screen when I am playing my game. I have my mods disabled as I just started started a new legacy challenge. Its been like this since Nature Calling event has started. Ive tried to repair my game and do a app recovery but nothing is working.
