Since the last update my game doesn't work anymore. First everything is fine, I can play without problems, but as soon as I travel or go from build mode back to live mode, I can only see what my sims is doing but none of the control or panels. I can still click on stuff but then the choosing panel with actions doesn't show. It like I'm just watching my sims. Anyone else have the same problem?
I have the same problem, plus my event screens in the upper left corner are not working properly. I'm playing with the MCC mod and thought it might be the reason for the glitch since the new event. But it doesn't work even after I deleted it. It would be interesting to find out what the problem is.🧐

Paragurl02 Sanjoo_16 2cdb3ae190f630f0 Do you get a lastUIexception file when this happens? It would be best to delete any you have at the moment, then try to trigger the error and see whether you have a new one. The file(s) would be in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
If you do get a new lastUIexception, open the file, copy the text, and paste it into a reply here.
Please test with no mods or custom content. You don't need to save your progress.
Same issue and as your other replies. Tried reinstalling with same result.
Short update: I removed all the mod files and deactivated the use of mods in the game. Now everything is working again. 😊
