Can't get past green plumb bob....

Hi...let me first say thank you to anyone who offers any insight/fixes for my issue. So here goes...I had sims 4 for a while but only played it a lil bit & was still playing sims 2. then the big summer sale happened along with the june update & I bought all of the expansion packs i've been eyeing. at first sims 4 alone played beautifully. but after i downloaded the newly purchased add-ons/expansion packs(and did the update)-nothing worked after that. I researched and tried every "fix" but nothing got me past the white load screen. i keep getting an error message stating that "an error occurred on our end which caused the game to fail. please try again later." i've deleted the cache, the localthumbnailcache, repaired the game, uninstalled the add-ons and then the sims 4 game itself. i re-installed my nvidia driver, turned off background stuff in task manager....After re-installing the game it did launch one time but that was it....it's been 6 days and i am stuck. i even ran a dxdiag which showed no issues. what am i missing....? also i don't have any mods(yet) i took the ea games folder out and let the game generate a new one.....still can't load. i know it's a lot but again....all help and suggestions are welcome.
