Can't interact with objects or other Sims in Sims 4

Question

I can't interact with anything in my Sims 4 game during gameplay mode. Build mode and create a sim are fine. Just when I go to actually play the game, I can't do anything. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the files, running a repair on the game, and running a few debugging programs. Nothing works. I don't know what to do at this point. Any ideas? Please help.

are you using any mods/cc in your game ?

Hi @crinrict,I’m not using any mods/ccs. I just have the base game and two expansion game packs.Thanks for your help,HighJinx

Did it ever work ?What symptoms are you seeing in detail ? Do you not get any option to interact with objects or do Sims not do what told ?

Have you tried a clean boot ?
