cant launch game after recent update
after the recent update (april 2025) I am unable to launch my game. I try to run it from the EA app and it won't even make it past the first loading screen. I turn the game on, plumbob keeps spinning...

mikulean001 Did the game stop working when you added certain mods back, or when you added your saves back, or something else? If it was the mods, look for updated versions of whatever stopped the game from working, or simply remove those mods for now. If it wasn't the mods, let me know.
SeriousSimmer Thanks for the dxdiag, which shows a number of serious crashes of the graphics driver. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

Let's continue in that thread so we're not dealing with three separate issues in this one.
I fear the game crashes because of the mods but also something seems to be wrong with my saves. The game crashed with white screen when I removed whole The sims 4 folder and tried to put only mods back to the new one created by the game (before I started putting them back everything was fine), but earlier I removed only the folder containing saves and it also crashed while mods were still there.
