Can't launch Sims 4 after reinstalling/CC problems

I downloaded loads of Custom Content yesterday and put them in the mods folder, but after doing so, i couldn't launch game. I realised soon after that it was because there were some bad CC that i downloaded (it's the first time that I've downloaded CC). So i reinstalled the game. But when i went on to launching it, it crashed again. So, what i think happened is that i probably should've deleted/moved the CC that was in the games mods folder BEFORE i reinstalled it... but i didn't. And then i tried to locate the EA folder but couldn't find it because i couldn't launch the game, so the folder didn't really exist. So i've now reinstalled Origins and i'm now reinstalling Sims 4 again...

Will it work this time? Or have i completely broken the game by accidentally leaving the CC in it?

Please remove CC/Mods and try starting the game again.

You should be able to remember where you installed it to but anyway here is the default path:

    Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

I can't remove them cause i can't find the folders. If i remember correctly, the folders don't show up until i've launched the game properly, which i can't...

They were created by your earlier install. A reinstall will not have deleted them.
