Can't save sims/house to my library.

I can not save my house/sims to the library.

No, I don't have CC, I uninstalled/reinstalled, I go back over and over and it says it saves, but it doesn't.

I am reworking the worlds, because I noticed that my townies don't have any sentiments in my current save, so I am trying to move over a house/sims into the new world that does, but it just will not work.

I am at a lost on what to do at this point.

  • @Maria_S_Avila  Please try saving a different house and a different set of sims to the library and see whether it works.  If it does, try saving your sims one at a time, and the house one room at a time, to see if there's a specific sim or room that's causing the problem.  Let me know what you find.

If nothing saves to the library at all, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, and move the Tray folder to the desktop.  Then try again to save something.  This will temporarily hide all your already-saved items, but the files themselves will still be intact in the folder you've moved and can be restored later.

So funny that's what I have been doing, I have been saving homes to move over into my save, but for some reason I can't get the Spencer-Kim, Goths, or the friends house to save. But I was able to save the pancakes home, but not the pancakes family.

I may try your second option, since no matter what I have done it just doesn't work.

So I tried the second option and that didn't work and it's only Goth house and the Spencer house that will not save. So I'm sure my save is bugged somewhere and I just have to rebuild from scratch.. so awesome!

@Maria_S_Avila  You could try saving the houses one room at a time instead.  It's possible that only one room, or one item in one room, is bugged, and finding out what it is might save you a lot of time otherwise spent rebuilding.

If you do find an affected room, try deleting the objects inside and see whether it helps.  If it does, you can quit without saving and reload, this time deleting only some objects and testing until you find the problem.  It could be as simple as an empty plate from a custom recipe hidden on a shelf or half wall somewhere.
