Cant take a bath with bathtub/shower combo

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.51.77.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Spa Day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on any bathtub/shower combo.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims cannot bathe in a bathtub/shower combo.
What do you expect to see? When clicking on a bathtub/shower combo sims should be able to shower and take a bath.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Anyone else having this issue?

I recently purchased the sims 4 and the spa day stuff pack same day. When I put any bathtub/shower combo in a house they cannot bathe or use bath soaks. Only the shower option comes up.

They cannot bathe toddlers either. I can use single bathtubs just fine but the shower combos are not working.

    Have you tried repairing the your game through Origin yet ?

    Did you also try a fresh save for testing purposes to see if it's limited to your save game or a general issue ?

    Baths with soaks have never worked in the shower/tub combos as already mentioned. My Sims can take regular baths and bathe toddlers and pets just fine though.

    No I have not. How do I repair it through origin? This was a brand new boot up from installing the game creating a family with a toddler and then not being able to use the bathtub/shower combos.

    See it's not just toddlers it's any sim. Kids adults too no one can bathe in a bathtub/shower combo and they can't use the soaks either. Maybe its somewhat related?

    All spa day related interactions don't work on shower/tub combos. The rest should work

    To repair the game, right click on it in Origin and hit repair game.
