Can't update Sims 4
Hi, I recently moved the entire Sims 4 folder from my D drive to my desktop, and when I try to update Sims 4 on the EA app it gives me the option to download, not update, as if it's not recognizing ...

When you move the game files to the desktop (why?) then the EA App can not find them and offer to reinstall the game. Fix is easy move the game files back to where they belong. Or install again if you prefer that.
I moved the entire folder to desktop because I had an issue where it would white screen, and after researching, moving the files fixed that.
I ended up fixing my issue by clicking "download" on the game in the EA app, but with the desktop path selected. The app recognized the installed game and instead applied the update instead of redownloading the whole game 😊
