Cat stucked dying, reaping never happens.

How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have everything except a couple stuff packs (kids room, perfect patio, cool kitchen, n luxury party).
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure. Let your pet die of Old Age.
What happens when the bug occurs? The pet doesn't die, the grim reaper is unresponsive, none of the house sims "know" what's going on, cannot save, reload or anything because there's a death occurring.
What do you expect to see? I expected my cat to finalized dying, my sims to be sad, and the reaper to get a move on with reaping.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Here you can see the reaper chilling outside my house, and the cat lying dead on the floor. All my sims walk around, over the corpse, unknowing. Cannot reset, reload, save the game because the game is waiting for the reaping to occur.
