CC dissappeared

I had this problem several months ago and still have no cc. ☹️ I still have the files for it, but it just is nonexistent in the game. AND, CC is on in Sims(4) I don't know what happened! I asked a while back and somebody suggested that I should try renaming the file because back then it was the problem of not being able to play sims. I pushed repair as well.. I don't know if that did anything to change a thing. It's been on my mind and I've been living cc-less!! How do I get my beloved custom content back without stress?
