CC Skintones
So, I tried to make a household without cc. I gave her no custom eyes or clothes or anything. However, I go to change her skin tone, and it has the little wrench icon on it. The thing is, the skins are base game skins, not cc. The skins are just normal base game skins, but for some reason, they say they are cc skins. Is there some way to fix this? I deleted most of my cc skins hoping to fix it and that didn't work. Please help.
For testing purposes, try to remove all mods and see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.If that works you have some mod messing it up, you have to use trial and error to find which one. Maybe move out all that has to do with skin. If that helps, move them back one or a few at a time. It sounds as though you have some kind of default replacement though 🙂
Maybe you downloaded a replacement version of a mod by mistake?
