change career outfit cheat not working

Hello.

I'm having a problem with changing the career outfit for my sims.

Strangely, I can't change the career outfit just for part-time jobs. When I enter the cheat code, the CAS screen does come up but when the sims actually go to work, they change back to the default work clothing.

I've used both methods of entering "sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas" and mc command centre but they don't work.

Please help!

  • @anyp1116 I tested this and had the same result.

I don't know if it's intended or a bug but since it's a cheat it's also not really supported.

If you like you can create a bug report on it in the bug forum.
  • I know I’m a few months late, but... this is the first time I’ve had a sim with a part time job (she’s a college student living off campus), and I’ve edited it twice to no avail.

It’s not a huge deal but it’s annoying nonetheless, I expect her piercings and eyelashes to stay put. Instead, she goes to work as a barista in her uniform with the accessories and makeup from everyday #1 minus any facial accessories, bracelets, and rings.

I wish we didn’t have to rely on a half-functional cheat to edit their work uniforms. I actually do like most of the work outfits, and I just want them to have their eyelashes or glasses, and any piercings I’ve added. 😐

I have this same issue as well :/ kind of annoying because we should be able to edit our sim’s work outfit regardless of cheats! This should have been something implemented long ago :/ I’m pretty much left to do it every single time she goes to work to her life guard job ☹️
