Changing the game from one drive to another

MakaylahSlothy Please find the location of the folder the game is actually reading. Here's how:

If you don't want to use that location, you'll need to create a symbolic link to tell the game where to look. Here's how to do it:

puzzlezaddict Hiii!! I've recently tried doing this process again but with an external hard drive this time and for some reason it shows up that something in the documents cannot be moved?? I've made sure the steam library is in the hard drive and I've updated/redownloaded the game multiple times in the drive, but it doesn't seem to work??
What the thing says " Can't move the folder because there is a folder in the same location that can't be redirected. Access is denied." I really don't know what can't be moved
I have been having the same issues, bought external hard drive for all the cc and mods and it keeps saving to my computers hard drive.. tried the symlink and tried in the documents properties. so any time i want to play i have to move my entire mods folder to the sims folder on my computers hard drive
