checkmark to save this household to ur libary and start playing its not working

Hi i need help i just downloaded the sims 4 on steam and after doing the basic stuff and making my first sim when i press the checkmark to save this household to ur libary and start playing its not working? when i click it it infinite loads and i cant click on anything else and when i press escape im back in the sims creator could anyone help me please?

8tirayk80ruc Have you added any mods or custom content yet? If so, please remove the Mods folder and try again.

If that isn't the issue, please list the location of the folder the game is reading, as described here:

https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/

I want to make sure it's the correct location.
