Sims 4 white screen crash.....

e6jidco6ze9f​  Please attach that dxdiag to a reply here so I can take a look.  Of the many confirmed and potential issues it can show, it only flags a small percentage as a problem.

e6jidco6ze9f​  The dxdiag shows your laptop's graphics driver is crashing ( the LiveKernelEvent 141 errors at the end of the file, if you're curious).  It's also three years old, which may be the problem by itself.  The thing is, HP software often blocks the installation of drivers not provided by HP, even if they're compatible.  So first check the HP download site for a new driver.  Go here:

Enter your serial number, choose your OS (just Windows 11 is fine) if prompted, click All Drivers, expand Driver-Graphics, and look for the newest Intel driver by version number.  The first number matters most, e.g. 32 is newer than 31; after that, the last four numbers matter.  Your current version is 31.0.101.4502.

If you find a newer driver, download it and run it as an admin: right-click the installer and select "Run as administrator."  Then restart your computer before trying to play.

If HP doesn't offer a newer driver, try to install the newest one from Intel:

Run the installer as an admin.  If you get an error when trying to install it, use this workaround:

So I tried installing this Intel driver since HP no longer supports it, but it didn't work—it said it couldn't find any compatible drivers to install.
The driver error was nvlddmkm.sys, but I've already reinstalled that NVIDIA driver and I'm still getting a blank screen.

e6jidco6ze9f​  I didn't check the date on the dxdiag until you mentioned Nvidia, and this laptop doesn't have an Nvidia GPU.  But as it turns out, the dxdiag your uploaded is from 2023, which means it almost certainly isn't yours.  Please upload your own so I can take a look.

e6jidco6ze9f​  The Sims 4 errors in your dxdiag could be due to an issue with the graphics driver, and there are also two crashes of the driver, or one of them.  This time it's LiveKernelEvent 117, which is a different type of crash but still points to the graphics system.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of both the AMD and Nvidia drivers, as described here:

Use the drivers HP provides; you can update later if necessary.  Download them before removing the current ones, since you'll be offline while reinstalling.

The proper order of operations is uninstall the Nvidia driver > uninstall the AMD driver > restart > reinstall the AMD driver > restart > reinstall the Nvidia driver > restart, all while your computer is offline.

I tested it, and it's more stable now, but the error still occurs in only one of the save files.

e6jidco6ze9f​  Then try playing different sims within this save, and your same sims but on a different lot.  You don't need to save your progress, or you can use "save as" so you don't overwrite your main save.  The question is whether the problem is something more specific within the save that can be fixed, for example maybe the home lot is broken in some way.

When testing, don't use anything from the Gallery or your own library.  Just test with newly-created or pre-made sims and houses.
