I moved my Sims into another household, where there was a woman and child already there, and I let them stay. For some reason she's paying household bills "including child support". AFAIK her only child is living in the house, so clearly she isn't paying support for him as he's there. How do I find out who else she's related to?
@crinrictThanks! I didn't know I could get to that in Sims 4, I only remember seeing a family tree in Sims 3, and only when creating Sims. I eventually found it in simology. It wasn't her kids! It was 4 alien kids by my existing player, which I assume I'm paying alimony (maintainance, spousal support, depending where you live) for. That's the only kids in anyone's family tree. I just never noticed it appear in the household bills before, despite him having had alien kids for quite a while. Maybe because they moved? Although they've moved before, and also the alien kids were immediately sent to home world. Strange they only just sent the bill! I've also only just started getting presents in the post from Sims for completing the Strangerville addon, which was done a long time ago.
