Sims 4 has been stuck verifying, patching and attempting to update for weeks now. I wanted to play today, which is when I found out it was struggling to update because the "ClientDeltaBuild6.package"...

First thing to do is MOVE your save file folder to somewhere safe.
Once that is safe, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the game see if that helps.
