CODE 22

Question

Hello everyone.I tried to search the Technical Issues page for the newest post about code 22, but it was over 1 year old, so i guess i have a new, different problem?I've been experiencing this irritating problem, where my game gives me the code 22 when i try to do anything but basically play in my lot. If i try to save or travel or anything, i get the code. Is there a way to fix this easily.I own every pack there is and some of the kits. I use Steam. I have the latest update. No mods and no CC.Thank you very much, i appreciate the help so much.

MistyLake This error is most commonly related to an overly-protective antivirus. So please check yours for any actions involving Sims 4, and set exceptions/exclusions as necessary. If you only use Windows Defender, check Controlled Folder Access too—the problem often only shows up there. This guide covers Defender and a couple other common AVs:
