Brohepsi There are some odd errors in your dxdiag for which I'd like a bit more info. But first, please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
- Click Windows key-X and select "Powershell (Administrator)" or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)" , whichever you see
- In the window that appears, copy and paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth" without quotes, and enter
- Post the result, and if you see an error and the scan can't run to completion, stop here and let me know
- Otherwise, opy and paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" without quotes into the window, and enter
- The system will take a little while to validate; if it throws an error, please list it
- Otherwise, copy and paste "sfc /scannow" without quotes into the window, and enter
- Post the message you receive
Restart your computer, open Windows Settings > Update & Security, click the box to check for updates, and if any install, restart again afterwards.
Try again to play. If you see the same color issues, open the Reliability Monitor (Windows key-R, perfmon /rel ) and look for any new errors that happened after running DISM and sfc. For whatever you find, right-click the names and select "View technical details," then either copy and paste the details or take screenshots and attach them to your reply. I'd like everything that happens in one play session.
Keep in mind that the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away, so if you don't see any new errors, check back in an hour or so, and double-check the time stamps to make sure the errors are from the time span you're trying to include.
puzzlezaddict I did the steps provided. Attached is a note with the terminal commands and results, along with more screenshots from gameplay, another dxdiag, and screenshots of perfmon /rel. I managed to finally get a screenshot of the problem happening when switching in the Sims panel, attached as "inventory". I did not get a screenshot as I am not fast enough (or have 3 hands) but I fear the problem is getting worse. I am seeing it for 2 seconds when I click on the Sim panel in CAS, the one where voice, sexuality, walk style, and gender are controlled.
I started playing with one of my many Sims, Philip. Philip used the bathroom and went to bed as it was almost 4 in the morning when I entered his household. He woke up, had breakfast, and went to work. When he got back I switched to build mode and got him a better quality TV and couch. His social was low so he invited a friend over. While they were talking I went into build mode again and built a tiny laundry area in a room below the stairs. Philip and his friend played video games for a bit, talked more, then the friend left. Philip ate dinner, then modded Sims Forever. He applied for scholarships as he was accepted into university, then went to bed, used the bathroom, showered, drank orange juice, and went to work. When he got home the sink was broken so he repaired it. While that was happening, his girlfriend (who has a residence key) came over and started mopping the bathroom.
Interestingly enough, I tried recording my gameplay with the in game camera, but the issue would not show up when I watched the video. Strange how I can only capture it by taking quick screenshots
Edit: I'm going to have to make a second reply for more screenshots

puzzlezaddict Part 2 of screenshots. I found an odd number of visual apps in my settings. Some dates say the 15th, but the issue has been happening for longer than that. Thought it may be relevant so I included it.
