Ezranian You can choose Load Game, which kicks you to Manage Worlds, then click the household and see a few different options there. You should be able to split and place the sims elsewhere.
Unfortunately I cannot do that, as the household was never placed into a world before the glitch began, and now I can't place them or the game instantly crashes
