Consistently bluescreening in build mode

I just want to express how frustrating and frankly unacceptable it is that this old game is giving my PC issues.

I recently completed Silent Hill 2 remake which was created with Unreal Engine 5 and released in 2024 without a single issue and yet the Sims 4, which was made 11 years ago, gives my PC bluescreens in build mode.

I have spent $1800 AUD on this game. I own all DLC. It is at least 18x more expensive than any other game I have ever purchased and it is also the only game which gives me issues.

I do not see a need to post my PC specs. I do not see a need to go over all the troubleshooting steps including reinstalls and clean GPU installs that I have completed. This clearly isn't related to any of that as I have never had a single bluescreen or technical issue with a single other game or program. I have never even had a bluescreen on any PC ever before this, actually.

I have never used mods. I have spent the maximum amount of money possible on this game and I am unable to play it.

Please optimise your game!

    Heya Rebekyy

While I can certainly sympathize with the points you've made above, without the information you've called out as not willing to provide we cannot properly investigate the underlying cause.

Simply providing a DxDiag is usually enough to determine what's causing a BSOD.

I think it could have been a bad GPU update affecting the game or something like that. It doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Sorry to be rude about this, I was just very frustrated.
