Cottage Living Glitch-Sims stuck in one position

mslataprada  The problem isn't only Cottage Living, or else there would be a lot more reports.  Part of the issue could be the lot you were playing on or a feature you were using.  So try playing a household elsewhere, first without adding any obvious CotL features, and see how it goes.

You don't need to uninstall the entire game to get rid of a single pack.  Instead, just disable it:

Did the Sims react in any way, maybe by waving their hands around with a question mark over their heads? That would mean their path is  blocked. I had that happen on a lot in Henford out of the blue for a room that was perfectly fine until my Sim decided it wasn't and that the path was blocked, which it wasn't. I've had that only on that one lot, so maybe that's part of your problem, too. Also, not all packs work together smoothly.

I didn’t see any way to disable the game pack in the EA APP. If I choose to check to see if the game plays on another lot then what is the point of having the game? The game was working fine before the January 2025 patch which I forgot to mention. 

No. All sims stayed stuck even outside on an open grassy area. No waving of the arms, just standing still with arms to the sides. Stuck in the chair. When click to sit in another chair it would take a while for them to react, stand up, walk to the chair then just standing still there with their arms to their sides.

The point of testing is to narrow down the source of the issue: the pack itself, some feature of the pack, some lot included with the pack, some lot or sim you downloaded, etc.  Then you can choose to avoid that particular problem and (hopefully) use the rest of the content.
