I open the game and it will do the intro screen and get stuck on the plumbob loading screen for 1-2 seconds then crash. EA opens up but reloads the page twice which I assume removed the repair option? I removed all mods, restarted my computer twice, and un and re installed the game. It is still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
RegainSanityy Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists numerous Sims 4 crashes that point to a component of the 2015-2022 VC++ runtimes. So please uninstall your current copies and install fresh ones. Click Windows key-i, select Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, click on any version from 2015 or later, and select Uninstall. Don't touch the older versions. You can download the newest runtimes directly from Microsoft:

You'll need both the x86 and x64 versions of the 2015-2022 runtimes, but you can skip the ARM version, which is for a different class of device. Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
