Crashing in Build Mode

Hey everyone, I could use some help figuring out if it's my laptop or if it's an EA/Sims issue. 

I love building and decorating homes for my sims however anytime I'm in build mode, I have maybe 5 mins before the whole game crashes.  I'm not a super simmer into custom content whatnot so I don't have cc or mods installed, I do have 46 add-ons that I've collected over the ears and I've recently gotten a new laptop thinking that maybe my other laptop was just too slow/old. This new laptop has been running super smooth during the actual gameplay but for some reason only build mode crashes, I've lowered my graphics, I've got it in laptop mode, and I've repaired the game which allowed me to be in build mode slightly longer but it still ended up crashing and I'm not sure what to do at this point. I submit my crash reports whenever it pops up but idk what to do anymore
