elliebreton It's possible that the lots are the problem, or part of it, but that they don't cause a crash every time, due to slightly different contexts (e.g. whether you go into live mode right away after placing a lot). It would be unusual, however, for precisely the same steps to generate different outcomes, as with the vet clinic that causes a crash when saving sometimes but not others. That's what I wasn't sure about from your OP. It could still happen, but if it's happening a lot, I agree it's probably not only about the builds, at least.
The problem here is, I don't see anything that would explain the issue. Your dxdiag is full of Sims 4 errors, but they're more like the result of the underlying issue, not the cause, and they're generic enough to not be particularly informative. The errors basically look like you did something and the game reacted badly > error > crash.
If you'd like to experiment, at least to make sure this isn't a system issue, try playing in a clean boot, with your computer completely offline.

The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play. This will cut off your access to the Gallery, of course, but the game itself should play as normal.
Repeat your usual process and see what happens. As noted, you can temporarily remove the Tray folder if you don't want to create a bunch of duplicate Library items, then restore the folder later.
