I updated my game on November 11th with the early November patch. Then I didn't update again until yesterday. Now when I open the game it tells me I need to re-enable mods which I'm used to, so there are no mods in my game and I try to re-enable them. But every single time I restart my game the same notification box pops up. The "game version" text file says I have version: 1.68.154.1020. I've tried hitting the "update" button on origin again, "repair game" several times and I can't seem to get the proper version. Obviously, because there was a big patch, I updated my mods which should be compatible with version: 1.69.57.1020. This discrepancy was the only thing I can see wrong.
Help how do I fix it????
are you using avast or AVG ? This usually happens if they block the user folder.
See first post of this thread for more info.
- 5 years ago@crinrict I use avast
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@brettmoffit try this then: https://crinrict.com/blog/2020/10/add-exceptions-to-anti-virus-programs.html
- 5 years ago@crinrict So I followed that and added the three apps you stated in your first post to the exceptions to the ransomware shield. What am I meant to do now? the game version hasn't updated and my game still thinks its fully updated
