Thank you, but it still doesn't work.. when I start the game, my AVG tells me that "We just protected your file" and underneath it "TS4_x64.exe tries to change or delete GameVersion.txt file in your protected Documents folder" and gives me the choice to block the application or enable the application. What else can I do?
i had a rough time with mine too. in AVG,
After i went to "Exceptions" i added "thesims4.com" "ts4_64.exe" "origin.exe" and "origin.com
i still had the issue, but i went to "settings", "Blocked And Allowed Apps", Clicked on the +Allow App button, go down the list and add "Origin", "Origin Error Reporter", "The Sims 4", and "The Sims 4 Importer Tray" (if you have it)
