I have downloaded the game today itself and when I try to open it, it shows that the game is already running issue, I have tried everything given on various threads but nothing seems to work and the problem remains unchanged. I tried the technical support team too and tried their steps too but they didn't work either. Please help as it seems that I have wasted my money because I haven't even had a chance to play it yet.
- 4 years ago@crinrict can you help me too please, I just downloaded the game yesterday and was very excited to play but it won't work. I don't have any antivirus software except windows defender. However, my problem is a bit different whenever I open the game it shows that the game is already running. I have tried everything from the 2017 thread but that doesn't seem to work. I even contacted the technical support who made me clear cache, update driver, set exclusions, repair origin and I even tried to reinstall the game. But nothing worked

@himanshi11 Do you have ransomware protection on in defender ?

@crinrictyes i do and under that I see controlled folder access to which I had set exclusions and when that didn't work turned it off
