When I opened my game some of my character's clothing and skin we're broken and had the big white and red patches on them. My mods are organized in multiple folders in my mod folder, for example, I have a folder dedicated to clothing mods. So I took all my cc out and when I tried to make a new character to see if the problem was fixed but they're skin and clothing were broken and had the white and red patches even though I have no mods. Even the premade sims skin is broken. Can somebody please help with this issue.

Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.- 6 years ago
Yes, I have mods and I did take them out of my Mods folder but that sadly didn't change anything. I even turned off the mods inside my game but the skin and hair are still broken.

Did you save the game after first seeing this? If so that save is permanently damaged.. Start a new save to test with.
