Mawmaw_Shark Glad to hear it, thanks for the update, and enjoy your game.
Sith25Z20 Are you getting the "failed to launch game" error, or something else? Did you try the other troubleshooting steps in my previous post? I'm guessing you did since you posted a dxdiag, but I want to be sure before making any unnecessary suggestions. Your dxdiag lists a number of Sims 4-related access violations, a type of crash that's too generic to be useful on its own, and there's nothing else in the dxdiag that stands out as a potential problem.
If none of that helped, is OneDrive running on your computer? It could be interfering with the game. Try pausing syncing, which you can do by right-clicking the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, or pehaps hidden in the Tray (^ icon).
If that doesn't help either, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address; you'll be asked some security questions instead. You can at least try to launch the game without reinstalling anything.
i've tried every suggestion and got nowhere i'm done
