legit just downloaded the sims 4 a couple weeks ago cause some friends of mine said i might love it and i thought i might as well check it out. I downloaded it and played it for a while then went on and got some mods. After playing a couple more times with mods i got the error saying "Error: There is a problem with your game's setup, please reinstall your game".
Really don't wanna do that cause it took me like a day or two to download it in the first place and i've seen other people on here saying that reinstalling it didn't even work. Already tried forcing the digital 9x thingy and i cant download any drivers since i dont have the graphic compatibilities? let a dude know if this means that i just cant use the game anymore or what
much love :D
StarZee22 Please list the files you deleted, or the folder they're in. It would be great to have something, anything really, to go on for other players.

puzzlezaddict Well, when I went to Steam, I just went to manage and then clicked local files. All the files I deleted were underneath the Delta folder I believe. I just then proceed to Ctrl + A and then deleted all the files. The Sims 4 then sorta updated by itself and when I tried to open it, it worked! I hope this helps other players. I think one of my files might have been corrupted or something, I'm not sure.
